Product Details

Description:
The Microchip MCP23017-E/SO is a 16-bit I/O expander with an adjustable output type of Push-Pull, packaged with a 28-SOIC. It has a maximum clock frequency of 1.7 MHz and can source or sink up to 25 mA of current. The power-on reset feature ensures that all registers are initialized to their default state after power-up. The device operates over an SPI or I2C interface and includes interrupt and pin change interrupt sources.
